What is Synchro?
Synchro is a program which makes the process of keeping multiple sets of files up to date easier. Synchro can be set to synchronize files in one direction or two, and can work on any drive accessible under Windows (networked drives or even remote shares over the Internet - as long as it has a drive letter, Synchro can use it).

The best example of use for Synchro is for a person who has both a desktop (for use in the office) and a notebook (for use while traveling). Keeping your files up to date on both machines can be a major problem, especially deciding which files have been changed. Synchro takes care of this for you, by copying only those files which have been changed since the last time it was run. It can also be set to work in both directions, so that both locations would have the most up to date files available.   
Who would use Synchro?
Synchro is useful for anyone who needs to make sure that they always have a backup copy of their data, or who needs ensure that two locations always have the same versions of files (such as synchronizing data between a desktop and a notebook).
Can Synchro be used to back up my hard drive?
No. Synchro is not a backup utility, and cannot substitute for one. However, it can be used to duplicate important data to a "safe place" (such as a network volume, another computer, or other location you may choose). And while Synchro does not make network or dial-up connections, it can copy to network drives or connected locations when a connection has already been made.
